Its Monday, day one of the week

I have never been a morning person. When my husband and I started dating, I gave him a wonderful piece of advice. Do not make eye contact with me until I have made eye contact with you. Do not speak to me until I have spoken to you. If you follow these two rules, then we will have a happy morning. By all means he normally follows these to a tee. It is more of he is not a morning person than he worry about what will happen to him when he breaks one of these.

I have never been a Monday person. I work for a catalog company and normally when you come in on Mondays, you have to deal with problems that have piled up for two days. So I hate Mondays. I wished you could hit the fast forward button and be Wednesday. I know what you are thinking if you do that, then you will have to deal with four days of problems that have piled up. But in my crazy mind of mine, that does not happen, the four days of problems magically get solved and you are coming in on the hump day.

With me being a non morning person and a non Monday person, then you can figure out that Monday mornings are so wonderful for me. You will learn more about in future blogs but besides working 45 to 50 hours a week my husband and I run a breeding business, rescue Siberian Huskies and have two boys. They are from my first marriage. This weekend was a holiday for the school system and also fell on my ex's weekend. So he kept the boys an extra day. So that means 1 good thing, 1 bad thing. 1 good thing, I do not have to wake up trying to get a 14 and 10 year old out of bad. 1 bad thing I do not have a 14 and 10 year old at home to help take care of the puppies. That means that I have to wake up earlier than normal. UGH!!!

Needless to say, this Monday Morning was more UGH than normal. But the one bright point to it, no one made eye contact or spoke to me. I did not have to hear fighting just a little bark and a lick on the nose.
